On December 15, the Skolkovo Foundation held a superfinal and named 5 winners of GreenTechStartup Booster, the first accelerator in Russia for technology startups offering environmental solutions, of which HELYX became a strategic partner.
Recently, Vladimir Putin confirmed the importance of the environmental industry for the geopolitical positioning of Russia. In this regard, Anatoly Chubais, a member of the Board of Directors of the Skolkovo Foundation, was appointed special presidential representative for relations with international organizations to achieve sustainable development goals.
Accelerator winners will have the opportunity to implement pilot projects at partner sites and have direct access to the top management of large corporations. Also, the Big Three company ANO National Priorities will provide information support on all Internet sites “National Projects of Russia” and integration into one of the special projects on a relevant topic.
The GreenTech Startup Booster environmental program was the first that the Skolkovo Foundation conducted fully online - from initial negotiations with partners and the formation of directions to deep expertise. Only the decisions of the winners will be implemented offline.
The project was organized with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Energy with the participation of industrial partners - HELYX, SIBUR, NLMK, Norilsk Nickel, Gazprom Neft, Tatneft, Severstal, TMK, Total, ENEL, EDF. Their leaders also took part in the debriefing of the GreenTech Startup Booster.
