Application

Sewage pumping stations are designed for lifting and pumping drainage, storm, domestic and industrial wastewater. Vertical pumping stations are the most commonly used version of the pump station.

Application area

Sewer station is an engineering hydraulic element for raising the level and uninterrupted pumping of drainage, melt and storm water, household and treated wastewater, in cases where it is impossible to organize the flow by gravity.

Short description

In vertical pumping stations, as a rule, submersible pumps are used, installed in the lower part (in a receiving tank). Dry pumps can also be used in the vertical pumping station. This design assumes the presence of an additional storage tank. This type of SPS is advisable to use at high productivity. One of the advantages of this design is the ability to service pumping units and valves inside the pump station body.

The body of the HELYX sewage pumping station is a vertical cylindrical tank made of durable reinforced fiberglass. The tank is equipped with inlet and outlet pipes, including for electrical cables and ventilation. A ladder is provided for descent to the pump station The set includes pressure pipelines with stop valves and non-return valves.

Sewage pumping station is completed with pumping equipment from leading manufacturers, including KSB, Grundfos, Willo, Ebara, Lowara. If necessary, our specialists select equipment according to the individual request of the Client. The pumping equipment control cabinet is manufactured according to the customer's specifications. Standard types for outdoor placement (UHL 1) or for indoor placement (UHL 4).

Equipment
    The composition of the vertical pumping station:
  • vertical casing of the HELYX pumping station made of high-strength reinforced fiberglass with a lockable hatch and a ladder for service;
  • metal frame (bed) for mounting pumps with stainless steel guides;
  • sensors and alarms for level, overflow, sediment, etc .;
  • pressure pipe made of stainless steel. Check valves, valves made of cast iron or stainless steel, depending on the type of wastewater;
  • thermal insulation;
  • inlet and outlet pipes;
  • pipeline for natural ventilation (ventilation pipe);
  • cable channel for power and control cables;
  • platform for service of valves, made of stainless steel;
  • pump equipment;
  • control cabinet assembly HELYX, for indoor or outdoor installation with additional options at the request of the customer;
  • for vertical sewage pumping station version, a mounting kit is provided: anchor bolts for fastening in the base plate.
Principle of operation

The effluent flows through the supply pipeline into the receiving tank. Further, pumps (submersible or dry design) pump waste water through a pressure pipeline to the destination. The pumping equipment control cabinet can operate in automatic and manual modes.
