Shield gates are made of AISI 304 corrosion-resistant steel. The bolt of the valve can be made of both tool carbon steel (to ensure the best qualities in terms of perceived loads), or from corrosion-resistant structural alloy steel. The shield gate is a shield, resistant to hydromechanical impact, enclosed in a power frame (frame).
Along the perimeter, the shield is edged with a seal resistant to aggressive media, which ensures the structure is watertight when closed. Tight pressing of the seal in the closed state of the shield is ensured by polymer wedges, located in pairs on the shield and frame.
The material of the wedges makes it possible to avoid "sticking" of the wedges to each other due to the long stay of the shutter in the closed state. Panel gates are manufactured with manual or electric motor drive. The power of the electric drive is determined depending on the required opening-closing speed of the shutter and the creation of a force on the screw. There are options for installation in a slab with subsequent concreting or fastening to the channel walls with anchor bolts, as well as flange connection.
