Since 2019, HELYX has been producing filter housings for water purification and water treatment systems, including membrane housings for reverse osmosis systems, within the HELYX WATER main line.

Application

The membrane housing is designed to accommodate roll-type membrane elements in membrane filtration systems for liquids.

Short description

Housings for reverse osmosis membranes are used (as part of reverse osmosis systems) in the production of ultrapure water (deionized) for the semiconductor, medical, thermal power and food industries, as well as in the field of wastewater treatment. The reverse osmosis filter membrane housing is a cylinder made by winding fiberglass to the required thickness.

A membrane is installed in this housing, which purifies water at the molecular level, passing only water and dissolved oxygen molecules through its pores.

Reverse osmosis filter membrane housing characteristics:

  • working pressure from 10 to 82 bar;
  • working temperature from -7 to 49 ° С;
  • white color.

Depending on the diaphragm size, which indicates compatibility with a particular body size, there are two body diameters, 4 and 8 inches.
