General description
HELYX offers high-tech equipment and components for water treatment and water treatment systems. Since 2007, as part of the HELYX WATER main line, the company has been manufacturing filter housings for water treatment and water treatment systems, including filter housings of the filling type.
Application
The backfill filter housing is designed for loading filter materials into it. The case is an integral part of water treatment equipment designed to soften water, remove suspended impurities, organic substances, iron compounds and others from it.

Full description
The charge filter housing is a vertical hollow cylinder with a domed top and bottom. This shape ensures optimum hydraulic performance of the filter.
A special ring base is used for stability in the lower part. A neck is provided in the upper part of the body through which the filter is assembled and filled. In large housings, a similar throat is made from the bottom to facilitate assembly and maintenance of the filter. During operation, the lower neck is closed with a special plug.
The inner layer of the case consists of a polyethylene liner. The liner is made from polymers used (certified) for safe contact with water and for its subsequent use. The outer layer of the body is made of fiberglass, made by continuous winding with the addition of epoxy resin.
A distribution system is inserted through the upper part of the housing: consisting of an upper slotted cap, a riser pipe and a lower distribution system. For a dual-port chassis, only the top and bottom distribution systems.
