Filter housings with fillers are an integral part of water treatment equipment designed for the water filtration process. Inside the housing there is a replaceable element - filler, which performs the function of a filter material.
Depending on the needs for water purification, the filter filling may contain various materials, including activated carbon, ion exchange resins, quartz sand, shungite and others. During the filtration process, the water passes through the backfill, where various impurities are removed.
The filling filter has a cylindrical body, which makes it possible to achieve optimal hydraulic characteristics during operation.
The equipment has an upper neck designed for assembling and filling the filter material. In large cases, there is also a lower neck, which facilitates the assembly and maintenance process and can be closed with a special plug.
The filter has an inner layer made of a polyethylene liner, which is made of polymers certified for safe contact with water and its further use.
The housing has an outer layer made of fiberglass, which is manufactured using the method of continuous winding and the addition of epoxy resin.
