Filter housings with fillers are an important component of water treatment equipment designed for water filtration. There is a replaceable filler inside the case, which is responsible for water filtration.
To meet the needs of water purification, various materials can be used in filling the filter, such as activated carbon, ion exchange resins, quartz sand, shungite and others. During the filtration process, the water passes through the backfill, where various impurities are removed.
The filter housing for filling has a cylindrical shape, which ensures optimal hydraulic characteristics during its operation.
In the design of the equipment there is an upper neck designed for installation and filling of the filter material. In the case of large housings, there is also a lower neck, which simplifies the assembly and maintenance process and can be closed with a special plug.
The inner layer of the filter is made of a polyethylene liner, which is made of polymers certified for safe contact with water and subsequent use.
The outer layer of the housing is made of fiberglass, which is produced by continuous winding with the addition of epoxy resin.
