Filter housings with fillers are an integral part of water treatment equipment designed for the water filtration process. Inside the housing there is a replaceable filler element that performs the function of a filter material.
To achieve the required level of water treatment, various materials are used in the filling of the filter, such as activated carbon, ion exchange resins, quartz sand, shungite and others. During the filtration process, the water passes through the backfill, where various impurities are removed.
In order to achieve optimal hydraulic characteristics during operation, the filling filter has a cylindrical body.
In the design of the equipment there is an upper neck designed for installation and filling of the filter material. In the case of large housings, there is also a lower neck, which simplifies the assembly and maintenance process and can be closed with a special plug.
The inner layer of the filter is made of a polyethylene liner, which is made of polymers certified for safe contact with water and its further use.
To create the outer layer of the housing, fiberglass is used, which is produced by continuous winding and the addition of epoxy resin.
