Filter housings with fillers can be used for the water filtration process. They are an integral part of the water treatment equipment. Inside such a housing there is a replaceable filler element that acts as a filter material.
To ensure effective water purification, a variety of materials are used in the filling of the filter, such as activated carbon, ion exchange resins, quartz sand, shungite and many others. During the filtration process, the water passes through the backfill, where various impurities and contaminants are removed.
The filter housing for filling has a cylindrical shape, which helps to ensure optimal hydraulic characteristics during its operation.
The filling filter is equipped with an upper neck designed for installation and filling of the filter material. In large models, there is also a lower neck, which simplifies the assembly and maintenance process and can be closed with a special plug.
The filter has an inner layer made of a polyethylene liner, which is made of polymers certified for safe contact with water and subsequent use.
The housing is equipped with an outer layer of fiberglass, produced using the method of continuous winding and the addition of epoxy resin.
