Backfill filter housings are an integral part of water treatment equipment designed for water filtration. A replaceable element is placed inside - filling (filtration material).
Backfilling may include various materials, depending on the specific task of water purification. It can be activated carbon, ion exchange resins, quartz sand, shungite and other materials. The water passes through the filling and is cleaned of various impurities.
The filling filter has a cylindrical body. This form provides optimal hydraulic performance.
The upper part of the housing has a neck for assembling and filling the filter. In large cases, there is also a lower neck to facilitate assembly and maintenance, which is closed with a special plug when used.
The inner layer of the case is made of a polyethylene liner, which is made of polymers certified for safe contact with water and its further use.
The outer layer of the housing is made of fiberglass produced by continuous winding with the addition of epoxy resin.
