Filter housings with fillers play an important role in water treatment systems. These components are essential for water filtration equipment. Inside the housings there are replaceable fillers that perform the function of a filter material.
Depending on the needs for water purification, the filter filling may contain various materials, including activated carbon, ion exchange resins, quartz sand, shungite and others. During the filtration process, the water passes through the backfill, where various impurities are removed.
The filling filter has a cylindrical body shape, which allows for optimal hydraulic characteristics during operation.
For the convenience of assembling and filling the filter material, the filling filter is equipped with an upper neck. Some large models also have an additional lower neck, which improves the assembly and maintenance process and can be closed with a special plug.
The inner layer of the filter is made of a polyethylene liner, which is made of polymers that have received certification for the safety of contact with water and further use.
The outer layer of the housing is made of fiberglass, which is obtained by continuous winding and the addition of epoxy resin.
