Filter housings are an integral part of water treatment equipment. They are designed to filter water. Inside there is a filler that performs the function of a filter material.
For optimal water purification, various materials are used in the filling of the filter, such as activated carbon, ion exchange resins, quartz sand, shungite and others. The filtration process is carried out by passing water through the backfill, where various impurities and contaminants are removed.
The filter housing for filling has a cylindrical shape, which contributes to achieving optimal hydraulic characteristics during its operation.
For the convenience of assembling and filling the filter material, the filling filter has an upper neck. Some large enclosures also have a lower neck, which facilitates the assembly and maintenance process and can be closed with a special plug.
The inner layer of the filter is made of a polyethylene liner, which is made of polymers that have received certification for the safety of contact with water and further use.
Fiberglass is used to form the outer layer of the housing, which is produced by continuous winding with the addition of epoxy resin.
