Filter housings with fillers play an important role in the water treatment process. They are an integral part of the equipment designed for water filtration. Inside the housings there are special fillers that perform the function of a filter material and can be replaced if necessary.
For effective water purification, various materials are used in the filling of the filter, including activated carbon, ion exchange resins, quartz sand, shungite and others. During the filtration process, the water passes through the backfill, where various impurities and contaminants are removed, providing clean water at the outlet.
The filling filter has a cylindrical body shape, which ensures optimal hydraulic characteristics during operation.
For the convenience of assembling and filling the filter material, the filling filter has an upper neck. Some large enclosures also have a lower neck, which facilitates the assembly and maintenance process and can be closed with a special plug.
The filter contains an inner layer of a polyethylene liner, which is made of polymers certified for safe contact with water and its further use.
The case has an outer layer made of fiberglass, which is produced using the method of continuous winding and epoxy resin in the manufacturing process.
