HELYX manufactures high-performance rake screens for fine cleaning HUDNCH RT designed for mechanical cleaning at the inlet of practically any technological scheme for treating domestic waste water and are installed in widened channels in front of sand traps.
Fine rake grates are used as auxiliary equipment for domestic waste water treatment plants.
The mechanical grid consists of a set of vertical parallel rods that form a filter screen. The gratings are installed in the broadened parts of the channels (chambers) at an angle of 50-75 ° to the horizon. Bars of rectangular cross-section are used, the width of the gaps between the rods is 1-15 mm. Installation of gratings at an angle to the horizon makes it easier to clean wastewater from large debris.
The screens are cleaned with a rake, which is a rack with teeth. The teeth enter the gaps between the rods and, when the rake moves, move the captured dirt to the upper part of the grate, after which they are dumped either into containers or onto a conveyor. Overall dimensions and technical characteristics of fine cleaning rake screens can be modified in accordance with the Customer's requirements for each specific case.
