General description

HELYX produces high-performance pressure flotators HELYX FN, which are designed for the removal of oils, fats, petroleum products, latexes, resins, hydroxides, organic synthesis products, surfactants, finely dispersed suspended substances with a hydraulic fineness of up to 0.01 mm/s and less, some emulsified liquids, heavy metal hydroxides, polymers, etc., as well as for the separation of sludge mixtures.

Application

They are installed as part of treatment facilities for the removal of difficult-to-remove contaminants and impurities. For greater cleaning efficiency, it can be equipped with a polymer station or a reagent farm.

Short description

In the HELIX FN flotation unit, the particles float to the surface by bubbles of air or gas finely dispersed in water. Particles stick to the surface of the gas (or air) bubbles forming aerophilately. This process depends on the size and wettability of the surface particles, the frequency of collision, and the forces of mutual attraction and repulsion of the particles and bubbles. The process of education aeroflow can be intensified by the use of different reagents. The reagents are fed to the mixing device in the doses required to treat the entire amount of waste water.
