Industrial reverse osmosis is a complex of specialized equipment, the main purpose of which is high-quality large-scale water treatment. The primary task of reverse osmosis plants is desalination, namely, the removal of dissolved ones from its composition. The functional equipment of a particular model may vary. The final package depends on the range of tasks that need to be solved. The size of the removed particles is up to 0.001 microns.
The principle of operation of reverse osmosis for water purification consists in the passage of source water under pressure through a set of filters for mechanical and special purification. At the final stage, the transported medium passes through a semi-permeable membrane, the cells of which retain the smallest particles of foreign matter.
Reverse osmosis units HELY OsmoF include a pre-filter, a membrane module, a high-pressure pump, shut-off valves, a set of manometers and rotameters, a control cabinet with power equipment, a controller and a conductometer.
The membrane module includes pressure housings made of fiberglass or stainless steel with membrane elements placed in them, an integrated circuit for chemical cleaning of membrane elements, and a container for a washing solution. In some cases, the circuit may contain a stand-alone pump that is used only for the washing process.
The filtrate discharge line is made of high quality food grade polymeric materials. It is possible to install sensors for temperature, electrical conductivity, flow rate of source and purified water, control and protection devices at the installation. All equipment is mounted on a stainless steel or carbon steel frame. The control panel allows you to control the technological parameters of the installation in the current time mode.
The units operate in both automatic and manual modes. Manual control mode is used when washing membrane elements. Membrane installations HELY OsmoF can be equipped with reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and microfiltration membrane elements.
The filtrate sampling rate is 65-85% and depends on the composition of the source water. The minimum pressure of the source water is 0.15 MPa.
