General description

HELYX FIRE incinerators are equipment for incineration (thermal destruction) of various types of waste. In incinerators, bioorganic waste is incinerated, including: MSW, medical waste of groups A, B, C, partially D, expired and sanctioned products, oil sludge, corpses of pigs, cows, birds, sheep, stray animals, slaughterhouse waste, waste from meat processing plants and other solid and semi-liquid waste.

Application area

This equipment is used as a stationary waste disposal unit. Depending on the purpose of the incinerator, the device can be of the following types: for medical waste; for biological waste; for solid household waste; for veterinary waste; for wood waste; for liquid waste and oil sludge, etc.

Incinerators differ in power, volume of the loading chamber, dimensions and scope. Another fundamental difference is the type of fuel used by equipment burners.

    They can be:
  • gas;
  • diesel.

When comparing the two types of equipment, incinerators with diesel burners show the best efficiency in terms of performance and power. However, gas burners also have their own advantages - significant savings in maintenance and operation. Additionally, the equipment can be equipped with a waste gas cleaning system to reduce the SPZ of the site of use.

Principle of operation

  • The waste is loaded into a combustion chamber where it is exposed to high temperatures. As a result of combustion, organic waste in the form of thick clouds of smoke gets into the afterburner, and minerals turn into sterile ash and remain in the first chamber. From the total volume of waste, no more than 5% of ash remains.
  • In the afterburner chamber, complete neutralization of combustion products - gases takes place. Here they are heated at higher temperatures - from 1100 to 1500 degrees Celsius. Thanks to this, the risk of hazardous exhaust emissions into the atmosphere is reduced to zero.
  • The non-hazardous smoke enters the atmosphere through the chimney and does not cause any harm to the environment. Moreover, thanks to a special gas cleaning system, these gases have neither color nor specific smell.

Product benefits

    The operation of incinerators has a number of clear advantages over other types of waste disposal:
  • high efficiency: it is possible to burn waste in large volumes at once directly at the place of their formation;
  • a wide range of applications: the equipment is suitable for almost all types of waste;
  • ease of use: no special skills are required to operate the device;
  • safety: the disposal process ensures minimal contact with hazardous waste of the company's employees, as well as complete safety for the environment;
  • cost-effectiveness: minimal costs are required to maintain the equipment.
